Fast becoming a hot topic globally is the future of work. The world is facing rapid, exponential change driven by new technology and complicated by other international trends such as demographic shifts, political extremism and climate change. Technological disruptions are already changing the way we work and live and the speed that these technological innovations appear will rise steeply in the coming years.
We need new skills so that Scotland’s citizens can take a lead role in creating these innovations, so that we can make the most of new technology and most importantly be able to thrive in this future of constant change.
